Swess 140-3280 Air Filter – Cummins Onan RV

The **Swess 140-3280 air filter** is a direct replacement for OEM part numbers **140-3280, 48-2017, 140-3295, and 140-2852**, designed specifically for **Cummins Onan 3600-4000 MicroQuiet RV generators**, as well as compatible models from **Camp Power / QG RV, MicroLite / RV QG, and KYD 50/60 Hz generators (Spec A-B, B-H, and J-N)**. Before purchasing, verify your generator’s model and specification to ensure compatibility—this filter is not universally interchangeable across all Cummins Onan units.

Built for durability and performance, this air filter features a **synthetic rubber sealing edge** to minimise airflow gaps, a **reinforced metal mesh frame** for structural integrity, and **deep pleated filter media** to maximise surface area for efficient dust and debris capture. The design supports **normal generator operation** during routine maintenance, helping to prevent clogging and maintain optimal airflow. Unlike standard filters, the pleated construction provides a larger filtration surface, which can extend service intervals between replacements—though it should still be replaced when visibly dirty, clogged, or damaged.

Installation is straightforward, as the filter is engineered for **direct drop-in replacement** on compatible models. For best results, compare the dimensions of your existing filter (3-3/8″ outer diameter, 2-1/8″ inner diameter, 4-3/8″ height) before purchase. While light surface dust can be gently tapped off, the filter should be fully replaced when performance degradation occurs. This product is a **non-OEM replacement part** and is not affiliated with Cummins Onan or other listed brands.
